These are crazy times. Extraordinary indeed. It’s more than a century since our nation has gone into lockdown to this extent.
In my day job, we’ve poured considerable time into ensuring we are providing timely and accurate information. There is so much noise being generated, so I would encourage everyone to stick to the advice provided by the leading authorities.
The basics won’t change. So remember to:
• wash your hands frequently with soap and water, before and after eating, and after going
to the toilet
• cover your cough and sneeze, dispose of tissues, and use alcohol-based hand sanitiser
• and if unwell, avoid contact with others (stay more than 1.5 metres from people).
Please, play your part. Self-isolation and social distancing is in place for a reason. The more everyone co-operates, the quicker everything can return to normal!
